Athena S.p.A. is proud to introduce you The new RACING 50cc heating unit with exhaust valve,
for the Derbi / Piaggio D50B engine.
The new thermal group has been designed with a pneumatic valve system to ensure greater readiness and torque of the engine at low and medium engine speeds, allowing the user a smooth and ready ride in any situation or terrain.
The throttling valve, designed by Athena and already present in the kit for the AM engines,

it works by means of a pneumatic system that uses exhaust gas to start the valve.
The pneumatic system is supplied with two different contrast springs which allow the valve opening to be adjusted.
In this way you are not bound to any electronic control unit.
