Vertex pistons for 2-stroke engines

• Reduces the thermal expansion that causes the geometry of the pro fi le to change after the piston reaches the operating temperature.

• The presence of the high silicon content also allows a better resistance to wear and therefore prolongs the life of the piston without decreasing performance.

Vertex pistons for 4-stroke engines

• 4-stroke engines have much higher cylinder pressures than 2-stroke and generally the pistons to be equipped with them are produced by hot forging

• Vertex pistons for 4-stroke engines are hot-forged by the 2618 aeronautical alloy, a product of the highest quality that guarantees superior strength and durability.
