RAVE 2 PNEUMATIC VALVE WORKED

The valve is supplied already machined to allow the perfect opening of the discharge duct.

The upper part of the guillotine and of the stud that moves it are modified in the valve, extending the stroke. We make this change with CNC machines that ensure maximum precision

The RAVE2 pneumatic valve can be mounted on the 122 and 123 rotax engines.

The advantages of this valve are:
- Linear opening according to the turns
- Accuracy during gas partitioning at any regime
- Adjustable in a few seconds without having to disassemble any components (it is possible to decide at what number of turns to open the opening)
- Lower cost
- Less weight
- It does not require connection to the electrical system because it is completely mechanical

The only downside of this valve (in assembly on aprilia models) is that to operate it requires a 4 mm hole perpendicular to the valve support surface, passing through to the drain. The hole is used to put the drain and the valve in communication so as to allow it to work.
The HM models are already equipped with a hole in the cylinder and can therefore mount the valve without modification.

For correct operation on 122 and 123 rotax engines we recommend the machined version which, thanks to the extra mm of travel of the guillotine, guarantees the complete opening of the exhaust duct.

In 2016, a new billet pin was introduced that significantly increases the reliability of the valve, solving the problems of durability of the guillotine typical of this engine.
