The front cover of the Diablo Rosso II has as reference the Diablo Rosso Corsa which allows:

Better regularity

REAR COVER
Compared to the predecessor, the rear of the Diablo Rosso II has a greater slick area at the center of the tread and on the side strips. This allows:
Duration and better braking
Dry grip with maximum crease

REAR RUBBER BI-MIXTURE

Diablo Rosso II has a bi-compound structure for the rear tire:
In the CENTRAL AREA (75% of the total area)
high silica content, balanced by a reactive polymer allows a balanced performance to allow grip in the wet, stability and mileage
On the shoulder (25% of the total surface)
the black smoke and resin mix allows sporting performance for dry grip at every bend angle

Diablo Rosso II has increased regularity, of wear thanks to improvements on the tread design, which combined with a specific silica compound offer both excellent grip in the wet and superior mileage.

The second compound, the softer specification, deriving from the experience with Diablo Rosso Corsa and located on the bare shoulders of the tread pattern, offers superior grip in corners with maximum lean angle.
